Pnuemonia??

So, this morning at 2 am. Lucy wakes me up to tell me that she wants water. I go downstairs and get her water, bring it back to her and realize that she is burning up. She has a fever only, no other symptoms. I take her temp. she had a 102.7 temp. So i give her tylenol. So when we woke up, she was still pretty hot, but not as hot as she was this morning. I get Hailey up and ready to school and went to the bank and then to my moms. By then she is hot, and I figure its her temp and us being out in the hot weather. So my mom cools her down with a wet washcloth. She falls asleep and I put her on my mom's bed. My mom feels her ten minutes later and she is burning up.. We take her temp and its 104. So i call the doc..By this time i have to pick Hailey up in an hour and a half. So my mom takes her to the doctor. My mom calls me right after I pick Hailey up and tells me that they are doing a chest xray. She calls me a little after that (by now i am exiting the freeway to the doctors) that she may have pnuemonia and the doc wants to do blood to get a white cell count. So I get there right in time to go in with Lucy to get the blood taken. Im waiting at the door. This lady looks at me and says wow you look different. I am thinking to myself who the hell is this lady. Ive never seen in her in my life.. and then I realize she must of thought I was my mom and went on to tell her how I just got there and she is talking about my mom. anyways, so lucy cried when she watched the needle go into her arm to take blood. I tried to get her to look away, but that didnt work. Anyways, then he wanted an urine sample from her. yea, its not easy getting one from a 2 year old. Done this before with Hailey. Finally after about an hour or so, she finally gives one. So at the end of it, the doc thinks she has pnuemonai and will confirm it tomorrow once he gets the results of the white cell count. If not, then she has some kind of bacterial virus or something. So we will see tomorrow. For now, i will be up all night with a sick, high feverish Lucy. Wish me Luck!!

I've Been Busy!!

Sorry I haven't written anything in a few days..I have been busy. We are doing good. Bryan has been working his butt off. I have been busy reorganizing my house. Trying to figure out where and how my facial room/office is going to look and work best. Especially, since lovely Ms. Amanda wants a facial on Friday. And trying to hurry up and decide, so i can get part of Studio Moz out of my living room. Well actually Hailey and Lucy's playroom. I know shame on me. And also trying to change Lucy and Hailey's room at the same time. (by the way I am selling a toddler bed with a mattress).. Hailey is in her third week of kindergarten. She loves it. The color of the week is Yellow. And am still trying to figure out how her song goes. I will post it later once I know what it is. Lucy is doing good. She only cries some days when her sister goes to school. She has to wait by the gate, until her sister walks into the classroom. I hope she enjoys her alone time with me. In a month, when everything settles down i will take her to pump-it-up on Wednesdays while Hailey is at school. So, if anyone wants to go let me know. Well I hope everyone has a good day and I will be writing again soon.

It's a Hard Knock Life

So, it's that time of year again..Hailey's dance recital. They danced to It's a hard knock life. She practiced all year round for it..She did such a fabulous job and was so cute. When I get the video I will definitely post it on here, so everyone can watch it. But, here are a few pics of her and her sister in the time being. Enjoy!

Kindergarten, not the same??

well, as some of you know Hailey Gwyne started Kindergarten the beginning of this month. Yes, I did say Kindergarten. Thursday was back to school night, so the teacher can let us know what our child will be learning this year. Well, when I remember going to kindergarten I thought all we did was color, play games, and play outside. Boy, was I surprised when the teacher was letting us know. She said now a days its like First grade. By the time she graduates, Hailey will know all her letters, and numbers..(okay no big deal, she already does know most of them). But, as we listened to her talk, she went on to let us know that they will know how to add and subtract up to ten. Will be reading books and should at least be writing some sentences. Yea dog might be spelled dg, but it will be written with other words.. So as each week passes, Hailey will learn more and more and soon will be writing the blogs for me.

Blogging???

Blogging?? Why Blogging?? Well I came to realize that maybe I should just go ahead and try it. It's alot easier to let friends and family that you don't see all the time to know whats been going on in your life. Share the pictures of our fun adventures, instead of just putting them in the computer and not showing them at all.. Why take the picture then? And why not tell your family and friends about that great day you had. So we will try this for awhile and see how this works... Just be patient. I am new to this.. But at the end of it all, it will work out. I will be able to share my every day life..Welcome to the crazy life of the McKinnons.
