Disneyland with the Girls...

On Wednesday, Melissa and I took our girls to Disneyland. Well, I left Lucy with my mother-in-law that way we can go on the big rides and I wouldn't have to stay behind with her. I met Melissa through school and soccer. Hailey and Krista were on the same team. So we decided to take the girls after school. It was such a nice day and there were no lines at all. The longest line was to meet the fairies and that was about 25 minutes or so. Literally, we had to wait like 10 minutes if that for the rides. I couldn't have asked for a better day at Disneyland. They even had Small World open. (which every time we went it was closed, I couldn't tell you the last time we went on it). They did such a good job remodeling it. They had new boats and all. And the inside is really cute, I don't want to ruin it for you, but you have to go on it.Well, here are some pictures from that day.

*Thanks Melissa for going with us. I am glad that we went . We had a great time. Your girls remind me of my girls. I am so sad you are moving next month. If you and the girls want to go again before you leave let me know. We are free. Or anyone else wants to go with us, let me know. Until next time.

Hailey's Thanksgiving Program

Hailey had her first school program on Wednesday. It was so cute. I am so glad that its over though because for the whole week all I heard her sing is her program songs. LOL. And about half way through one song, there was this little boy that sang so lout and was ahead of the song than the other kids were. It was hilarious. I video taped.the program and if I can figure out how to put up on here I will. Well off to do my next blog. I can't wait until the next program.

Grace is Gone

Grace is Gone (2007)
Director James C. Strouse's indie drama stars John Cusack as Stanley Phillips, an ex-military man trying to find the courage to break some devastating news to his two daughters: Their mother has died while serving in Iraq. As he works through his complex feelings about his wife's death and the war, Stanley delays telling his girls the truth, instead taking them on an excursion to a theme park. The film won the Dramatic Audience Award at Sundance 2007.

I decided from now on I will put on my blog the movies we rented from Netflix. That way I can let you know if I recommend or to you not to bother.

Sometimes I pick movies that I never heard of and this is one of them. John Cusack and his daughters in the movie were great. It was definitely a tear jerker (get the tissues out), but made me laugh at the same time. Even though the story is very sad, and in some places kind of slow, you never lose interest because you can't help but wonder when he will decide to tell his daughters the truth. I recommend this movie to those that want to watch a good tearjerker and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Disneyland

Today we had Hailey and mommy time at Disneyland. Bryan's mom watched Lucy for me that way I can take Hailey on all the rides she wanted to go on without height restrictions from Lucy. Lucy is literally a few inches short for a few rides that Hailey likes to go on. We had a lot of fun. It was nice not needing a stroller and trying to push a stroller through a crowd of a million people. Hailey told me that she has so much fun today. We need to do it more often. We were excited to see that they started to decorate both parks with Christmas decorations. Not a lot but here and there. We were bummed that Small World was closed, It seems like every time we try to go on that ride its always closed because they are changing it out for the holidays. It just gives us another excuse to go. Well enjoy the pictures.

Well if anyone wants to join me for a trip to Disneyland, just let us know. We love going. Well I am off to watch Law and Order SVU now.

Mommy fixed her hair now.
She can be so stinkin' cute sometimes.

It's almost that time of year again...

Before we take Christmas pictures. So, I've been trying to think of cute Christmas card ideas. Bryan laughs at some of my crazy ideas. But, who know they may turn out really good. And I have to send them out this year, since, I didn't do them last year. And the year before that, our Christmas cards were really cute, that somehow I have to think of something that will beat that. Which I doubt I can do. Here is our picture from two years ago.
Luckily, we took them when we did. As a lot of you remember a few days later Hailey decided that she needed a haircut. Since, no one had time, she took it upon herself to cut it. Here is a reminder of what it looked like. Lol Her bangs are not pulled back or to the side. She had NO bangs. She went from long hair to a no bang , really uneven kind of bob. But, thankfully it grew back.
So next month you will be getting a Christmas card from us. And remember it was thought out. I love looking at Christmas cards. Especially, the ones with pictures to see how much the family has changed since the year before. Don't worry, our Christmas card will be definitely creative. Well, once I think of what we will be doing.

Good Night.

Window Painting/ Face Painting

My brother in law Kevin is doing window painting and face painting now. We are having him draw on our window, that way hopefully our neighbors will like it and call him to get theirs done too. He came over too late today, so he wasn't able to finish. But, so far it looks really good. Tomorrow, he will finish and then I will post pictures. So, if anyone wants their windows done for Christmas let me know or call my brother in law to have him do yours. Or if you want to hire him to do face painting, you can do that too. I'll have to have him do it on the girls that way I can post that too. Just in case his number is (909) 248-0610 Kevin or you can let me know and I will have him call you. He has really reasonable prices too. I will post pictures tomorrow of the finish look.

Halloween

Sorry about all the posts tonight. I was way behind and decided since kids are sleeping I will catch up. This will be the last one for the night.

Here are pictures from Halloween. The kids had a blast trick-or-treating. They both walked together to the doors and both said trick-or-treat and when Hailey walked away she said Have a Happily Halloween. It was the cutest thing. We decided not to fix the saying and let her say it her way. LOL

After Trick-or-Treating with her friends.

I hope everyone had a good Halloween. I know we did. Until, next year.

Ummm I don't think so.

We were enjoying our nice Saturday afternoon at my mom's house when Bryan decided he wanted to ride my mom' s street bike. (Yes, I said my moms, its one of her many mid-life crisis's...Sorry Mom) Let me remind you that the week before this, my brother laid down his bike and got hurt. So, being the worried wife that I am thought that maybe this wasn't a good idea. But, as usual Bryan will do what he wants. lol.

Hopefully he comes home.

Luckily, he made it back with no scratches. He said his dirt bike went faster than that. And most of you know what happened with that. If I could find the picture, I would show you. But that's the day I was lucky enough to spend the whole day in the ER with him with a concussion and broken ribs. Talk about headache. He had the worst concussion ever and asked me the same questions over and over again every few minutes for 8 hours. No joke! No exaggeration! But, luckily he made it through it. And Uhmmm I don't think he will be getting a street bike anytime soon either.

Halloween Time at Disneyland

For the last few years I try to take the girls to Disneyland for Halloween, so they can see how cute they decorate. Unfortunately. we only made it to California Adventure. I will be taking them next week, but not quite sure if it is still decorated or not. But, here are the few pictures I did take in the few hours we were there.L is for Lucy
Haha! It looks like I am more into it then they are. Atleast, Lucy isn't crying. LOL
On the Monster Inc. ride. They love this ride. Hailey thought it would be funny to try to scare her sister.
I told you I only took a few pictures. I thought i was going back the next week. But, things got too busy. Oh well. Maybe, Disneyland will still be decorated on Monday. We will see.

I LOVE my girls

I love my girls! They are getting so big too quickly. I wish we could just freeze time. And they can stay this size and still be cute as a button. But, unfortunately thats life and they have to grow up.
