Hailey had another soccer game today. They played the Killer Bees. We were missing two players (there are 12 girls on the team. Split them in half and play on two fields) and they had an extra player. At one point it was 5 against 7. It didn't stop the Green Mermaids though. Hailey did so good today. We couldn't have been more proud of how she did today. She did really good on defense. She stopped the ball quite a few times. Stopped the other team from scoring and even stopped the ball with her chest at one point. But, I have to say her offense today was even better. She kept getting in there, stealing the ball, and kicking the ball down the field. She even scored 3 goals today. And everytime she did, she would look at us and give us a big thumbs up. She did tell Bryan early this morning before the game that she was going to score 2 goals. And I told her to score a goal for me. So, she did it for us. lol. Well here are a few picutes to share. Enjoy.

Hailey did so good at practice tonight. They scrimmaged against each other. Within the first minute of practicing Hailey scored a goal. She was the only one that did. For only having 3 or 4 practices, she has turned into quite the soccer player. We are very proud of her. She is not one of those players that just sits and watches the ball. She actually will fight to get into the middle, so she can try to get the ball to score. She is pretty good And its not just because I am one of her parents. Even the mom next to us told me that she is really good and she gets it. Well, when we get her schedule i will put it in here, that way if anyone would like to help cheer her on, you are more than welcome to. I am off to bed now. I just had to share that with everyone. Hey, I am a proud mama. Plus, she needs to get a scholarship to college.(even though its 13 years away, have to prepare for the future) ha ha.. Good Night and sweet dreams.

Hailey had her first soccer practice tonight..She totally fought me over going. She cried and screamed and had a huge temper-tantrum over it when I was trying to get her ready. She said she was scared because she wanted to win and she doesn't know how to play. So Bryan had to have a talk with her about how it was just practice and how everyone is a winner and blah, blah, blah.. So I take her to practice at Vellano Park. We go up the hill and Hailey asks for her ball. I get it out of her bag and hand it to her. She accidentally drops it...It goes all the way down the hill and the steps..You should of saw me running..lol. She learned how to kick the ball in the net and how to dribble. She did such a good job and had a smile on her face the whole time. I asked if she likes soccer and of course she said "yes." She can't wait for practice on Monday. Next week i will take pictures. I forgot my camera with all the commotion that was going on with her before we left. She even has her own cheerleader. Lucy kept clapping and cheering for Hailey. It was precious.
Oh..and in the middle of practice. One of the dads found a tarantula. It was huge.. And I mean Huge. And then about fifteen minutes later, someone found another baby one. Which is still pretty big. And then they said they were quite a few of them in the bushes behind us. Great..That makes me feel good. So if you decide you want to come watch Hailey practice, don't laugh at me when you see I have a bat..J/k. But, you know I won't be sitting there anymore.

So, Hailey had her first team meeting tonight. She got to meet the girls on her team..One of the girls is actually in her kindergarten class and two of them are in the other class. So it was nice to have a few girls that Hailey already kind of knows. So she starts practice next Thursday and in a few weeks we will be getting her game schedule. So when I get it, I will post it for whoever would like to go help cheer her on...I know you want to... :)
