Hailey had her first soccer practice tonight..She totally fought me over going. She cried and screamed and had a huge temper-tantrum over it when I was trying to get her ready. She said she was scared because she wanted to win and she doesn't know how to play. So Bryan had to have a talk with her about how it was just practice and how everyone is a winner and blah, blah, blah.. So I take her to practice at Vellano Park. We go up the hill and Hailey asks for her ball. I get it out of her bag and hand it to her. She accidentally drops it...It goes all the way down the hill and the steps..You should of saw me running..lol. She learned how to kick the ball in the net and how to dribble. She did such a good job and had a smile on her face the whole time. I asked if she likes soccer and of course she said "yes." She can't wait for practice on Monday. Next week i will take pictures. I forgot my camera with all the commotion that was going on with her before we left. She even has her own cheerleader. Lucy kept clapping and cheering for Hailey. It was precious.
Oh..and in the middle of practice. One of the dads found a tarantula. It was huge.. And I mean Huge. And then about fifteen minutes later, someone found another baby one. Which is still pretty big. And then they said they were quite a few of them in the bushes behind us. Great..That makes me feel good. So if you decide you want to come watch Hailey practice, don't laugh at me when you see I have a bat..J/k. But, you know I won't be sitting there anymore.

If Hailey can change places with somebody....
So, today Hailey comes up to me with this card. She asked me what it says..I told her that it says "if you could trade lives with someone for one month, who would it be and why?" She told me she would do it with herself. And i asked why? She said because she is so pretty. I told her if you could not choose yourself who would you pick? She told me that she would trade places with me. I had asked her why? She told me because you are uglier than me and I want you to see what its like to be me. (Ouch!!)...After she said that, all i could do was laugh..It was probably one of the funniest things she said. So here it is..Hailey would be me. I am flattered..lol..
Who would you trade places with and why??

Half way there..
Bryan started a diet about two months ago. He has successfully lost 30 pounds so far. He has about 30 more to go. He is doing really good. And we are very proud of him. Hailey his "coach" has been on top of it. lol. She will tell on him if it even has a sip or a bite of something he is not supposed to. Which is not often Soon he will need a new wardrobe. You want to know how he does it? Well, usually for breakfast he has a granola bar and a piece of fruit. For lunch he has a salad. And for dinner he usually cook chicken or fish with vegetables. He works out when he can, when he has time away from work. But, work is a work out itself. He's tried other dieting ways, but for some reason this one seems to be the best and has been working great. When, he is done losing all the weight i will post before and after pictures. And then, we will get my lovely cousin Amanda, to take family pictures of us..She is really good. So next time you see Bryan he will be looking good. :)

Hailey starts soccer
So, Hailey had her first team meeting tonight. She got to meet the girls on her team..One of the girls is actually in her kindergarten class and two of them are in the other class. So it was nice to have a few girls that Hailey already kind of knows. So she starts practice next Thursday and in a few weeks we will be getting her game schedule. So when I get it, I will post it for whoever would like to go help cheer her on...I know you want to... :)

Go Kings Dress!
So, lately I have been letting Hailey and Lucy dress themselves. Well Hailey has been, but now letting Lucy have some independence. So Hailey comes out looking cute for school and Lucy comes out saying she wants to wear her Let's Go Kings dress. So here are some pics from their outfits. Enjoy.

Of course I am not going to let Lucy leave the house like that.. I had errands to run. Maybe if it was hockey season. lol..But its not. So, I had to talk her into being twins with Hailey. (it was the only way to get her out of her kings dress.lol)

Year Round??
So, as you know Hailey started school on the 7th of July. So, she has gone for four weeks and as of tomorrow she will be off until Sept 2. At first, when I found out that Wickman was still on year-round (the only school left in the district) it didn't bother me. Well, until now! Now that I think of it, it kind of sucks. That whole month she went to school she was learning. And now that she has a month off, is she going to forget what she has learned? I was talking to one of the other moms in her class. She also has a 4th grader. She was telling me while her older son is off, she has to hire a tutor for that month so her son won't forget what he has learned already. And when Hailey does go back, she goes for a few months and then is off again for 6 weeks in December. I guess we will see. The teacher did give her a huge packet of activities/homework to do while she is off for the month. So, we have to wait it out until 2010, when they think it will turn into a traditional school. And thats when Lucy starts Kindergarten, so they better turn it. lol..
Well, I will leave you with the color blue song (last weeks song)
B-L-U-E spells blue
B-L-U-E spells blue
hi ho did you know b-l-u-e spells blue
the big sky is blue
the ocean is too
hi ho did you know the b-l-u-e spells blue
Lucy is learning these songs now too because of Hailey. Which works for me..You ask her how to spell red and she will tell you..Hopefully she will be reading by the time she starts kindergarten..;) And sometimes i catch Bryan singing some of the songs when he is cooking. They get stuck in your head..I admit, I catch myself too.

Happy Birthdays!!

Happy Birthday to my lovely coustin Britney! Today is her big 16th. How exciting. I remember my 16th. My parents threw me a surprise party at my house with help with some of my friends and my cousin Shanda. It was fun. A long time ago. (We won't go there..lol). Anyways, I love you Britney and have a fun day at the park.
And today my great-grandma Hannah would of turned 86! So, Happy Birthday Grandma...I think of you everyday. For those that don't know she passed away on the May 29th. She was a wonderful person and is greatly missed. Love you grandma.
